Booking Conditions
Bookings made between The Owners of Casa Buena Fortuna and the person
making the booking, known hereafter as “the Client”,
are only valid after the booking form has been completed, either
online via our website or by post and being received by Casa Buena
Fortuna, and the deposit and breakages deposit being received.
Casa Buena Fortuna, 2 New Inn Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7HW,
UK, must receive a booking deposit of 30% of the total rental cost,
plus a separate payment of £100.00 as a breakages deposit.
The breakages deposit will be returned to the client, in full, within
2 weeks after the end of your rental period, providing no breakages
occur during your stay. An inventory is carried out before your arrival
and after your departure. If you wish to pay your deposit direct
into our bank account you may do so in either Pounds sterling or
Euros, please email us info@casabuenafortuna.com and we will forward
our bank details and a reference/booking number for your transaction.
Casa Buena Fortuna reserve the right not to accept all booking requests,
your booking will be confirmed via email or post, and all bookings
are subject to the following conditions:
The outstanding balance of your total rental cost 70% shown on your
booking confirmation is paid in full at least 8 weeks prior to your
departure. Failure to pay this balance by the due date, we will take
your booking as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited, and
Casa Buena Fortuna will have the right to re-let the property. See
Cancellations and Alterations Conditions below. Top
Cancellations and Alterations Conditions
Requests for alterations and cancellations must be made in writing
and either submitted by email, fax or by post. This should be
by made by the person making the booking “The Client”.
If cancellation or alterations are requested by email, then we
strongly advise you to have an ‘email receipt’ facility
attached to your email.
The Client will be subject to the following charges payable for
all cancellations and Alterations.
More than 60 days prior to departure: The 30% booking deposit will
be forfeited.
Less than 60 days prior to departure: The entire rental fee will
be payable unless Casa Buena Fortuna are able to re-let the property,
if this is the case then only the deposit will be forfeited. Top
Breakages Deposit
A separate payment of £100.00 is payable at time of booking
as a breakages deposit. The breakages deposit will be returned
to the client, in full, within 2 weeks after the end of your rental
period, providing no breakages occur during your stay. An inventory
is carried out before your arrival and after your departure.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Casa Buena Fortuna is a privately owned property, and it is in
the interest of all parties concerned that the following conditions
are
accepted as a binding agreement. Casa Buena Fortuna cannot be
held responsible for any alterations to the accommodation, cancellation
or errors made by the owners. The owners reserve the right to
alter,
modify or cancel any holiday in certain instances. The owners
are not liable for any loss or damage to luggage, personal injury
of
death. Our property is regularly inspected and our photographs
and descriptions give our true impressions. It is in our interest
that
you enjoy the best possible holiday through us, as we want you
to book with us again in the future.
Please remember that there maybe an occasion when necessary maintenance
must be carried out whilst you are renting the property, whilst we
always try to carry out maintenance whilst the house is empty unfortunately
this cannot always be the case, the pool maybe closed whilst cleaning
takes place and external maintenance to the property maybe carried
out by the management company. Top
Insurance
The Owners of Casa Buena Fortuna have insurance cover for buildings,
contents and public liability covering only themselves. The Owners
of Casa Buena Fortuna will not be liable for any loss or damage
to your property, or personal injury or death whilst you are at
the property. The responsibility lies with yourselves to ensure
you have adequate insurance cover for your own possessions and
health. Top
Damage or Breakages
During your stay at the property you will be held responsible for
any losses, damage or breakages. The Owners of Casa Buena Fortuna
reserve the right to deduct the cost of replacing any lost or
damaged items from your “Breakages Deposit” and if
necessary claiming further payment from the client should the
need arise. Top
Keys
A set up keys will be issued to the client on arrival. An additional set maybe requested in advance for a deposit of €30.00. All call outs for lost or stolen keys will result in a charge of €30 for each replacement key and a callout charge of €70.
Top Tenancy & Termination
Casa Buena Fortuna forms part of a residencia, and has it’s
own community rules. On accepting our terms and conditions you
are also agreeing to abide by the residencia rules, which are set
to
make your holiday and that of others enjoyable. Only the people
named on the booking form should occupy the property. You are not
allowed
to re-let or assign the property to others.
The Owners reserve the right to terminate without notice the rental
period of any client whose behaviour is such that is causes distress,
upset, damage, annoyance or danger to the designated property managers,
the property or any third party.
In the interest of safety and security you must not give the keys
to the property to anyone, not defined on your booking form as being
in your immediate party.
For the benefit of all holidaymakers, the Owners operate a strict
NO SMOKING policy in the property. Smoking however is permitted
on the terraces where ashtrays are provided.
Pets are not permitted in the property. Top
Locations and Accommodation
The descriptions of the location and accommodation have been prepared
in good faith by The Owners. You will be advised of any changes
to the property that will effect your rental period wherever possible,
however, we cannot be held responsible for any circumstances beyond
our control, for example, public holidays (fiestas) local authority
or government restrictions, or repair and maintenance to the property
and the complex (residencia). Top
Passports, Insurance & Luggage
The Owners strongly recommend you check you passport in advance
of departure, as you are now required to have at least 6 months
remaining
on your passport from your return to the UK date. Personal belongings
and luggage are taken to the house at your own risk. It is your
responsibility that you have adequate insurance to cover your
personal effects outside
of the UK, via and insurance policy. We would also strongly advise
you (and from personal experience) to take out a personal insurance
policy that covers you for every medical eventuality, as although
your E111 will cover you, should anything unfortunate arise;
you will be taken to the hospital in Arrecife, where they DO
NOT speak
or understand English very well, if you take out your own personal
medical insurance you normally go to the private hospital ‘Hospiten’ where
they speak English and also offer translators if necessary. Top
Owners Liability
The Owners cannot accept liability or be held responsible for any
alteration, delay or cancellation caused by war, or threat of
war, riot or civil strife, terrorist activity, threatened or
actual,
natural disaster, fire, sickness, weather conditions. Or acts
from local government authorities, airports, port or mechanical
or electrical
breakdown to the property or anything under the heading of ‘Act
of God’, or any similar events beyond our control. Please
check you travel insurance as they may well cover these events. Top

Access/Cleaning
The property is left with sufficient linen for a one week stay. During a two weeks stay you will have fresh linen after one week in addition to the above service. Please be aware that the Management Company will require access to the property and we therefore ask you to assist them as much as possible.
On your departure day you are requested to vacate the property
by 10.00am unless by prior arrangement with The Owners or the
Management
Company. Top
Accepting these Terms and Conditions
By Signing this agreement you are accepting our terms and conditions
and booking conditions and you are agreeing to abide by these terms
and conditions and all that is stated.
